new solo

are the solo any good now.
I know when they first came out they were pretty bad.
have things changed now?
are they worth having?
best buy has them for 349.99 now.
would it be wise to buy one now?

Hey Dirby, long time no see around here. I have 2 and have never had a problem. They are the same units as you had as no manufacturing has been done since. There is a 3rd party GPS unit available now that helps in that area though. I'm still flying my original unit I had back from the pre-order days and never had the problems you and a few others had.
