motorpod to main board connection help

Just loosened the main board to get to the hdmi and removed 02 motorpod wires to make it easier. On reinstalling, I cannot get them to seat properly and don't want to force them (see photo). Is there a trick here? New to RC. Thanks.

Pull the connector out and try to inspect the pins in the board-side connector. Hopefully none got bent over. If they look ok, try reinserting the connector and working it in keeping it perfectly straight. If it cocks too much one side, it won't go in easily. You could also try working it in side to side in very small amounts.

Yeah, it's the right way up. There's a slight red mark on both connectors.

I saw that and edited my post.. I thought it was the other mark, the red one on that side is harder to see.
