Motor pods

Has anyone ever seen 3DR put the motor pods on sale?
Just curious how many parts they put on sale?

Nope or I would have snagged a lot more than I have.
I have only seen solo/gimbal (and combos, but not gimbal by itself), batteries, gps shield v2 and props on sale in the official 3dr store.

I see that 3DR has the Solo and Gimbal on sale on their site for 599.00 for 14 more hours.

I'd be happy buying the ESC and pod frames as is...sure would make the upgrade path cheaper.

@RichWest I just sold the unused motors on ebay after removing and kept the pods. Not as good as buying the ESC by itself, but makes it a little less painful lol. I sold them for $15 each, which means I only had to pay for 3 pods instead of 4 at full price.

$15 ea? Sounds about right. I've got about 10 of them if anyone is interested. Saves me from putting them on Ebay.

Wow! I'm thinking that's what the ESC and pod frame should sell for at most....$2 more for the ferrite and bullet connectors...I'd buy a few sets if that was the price. Then I could bulk buy the T-Motors from a friend. Just dreaming of $60 upgraded motor pods...

Hey Steve, just the original Solo motors. Both my birds are running T-motors.

there was a cat on Ebay selling returned pods for 25 bucks
I bought 4 and replaced the motors in them
no problems so far
