Just bought a Solo, controller has issues

Im new here and just bought a Solo yesterday! I flew it a little today but noticed my controller's lcd has some lines through it. Yellow blue and red I believe at the bottom going horizontal (not home atm so cant say for sure) and 5-7 white lines going vertical through the middle. I thought it would go away after the update but I was wrong. Anything I should try before returning my drone to get a new one? Thanks guys, looking forward to being a part of this community!

"before returning my drone to get a new one? Nothing, it's a LCD screen, when the screen goes, it goes.
Just return it, they will not swap out bad items, but replace the whole unit?
You'll be up & running in no time.

After doing some reading up here im gonna head over to best buy to return it and hopefully be up and flying soon again! Thanks for the reply!
