How do I increase the payload for my 3dr solo

@Pedals2Paddles answer is short and to the point.
More payload means more powerful motors, bigger props, bigger battery…..
None of which are suitable for the Solo frame.
you could theoretically just up the voltage to 6S but then you will need all new electronics in the Solo...

Hope you understand.

What about it if is just a couple of pounds? Like, I would like to retrofit a Solo to be able to carry just a LIDAR set-up. Less than 5 lbs. Y'all think that is not doable, @Pedals2Paddles and @Mike Boland?

Specs says payload 700g (gimbal with camera + something). If you change battery to Li-Ion 4s2p you get extra 100g. Removing gimbal you have 800g payload. The question is how much you need?
