Not new to quads, but I couldn't pass up the amazing deal at Best Buy this last Labor Day weekend! $499 for the Solo, Gimbal, xtra Battery and extra set of props! I added the Backpack for $150 and now have an awesome travel drone. Had to learn the hard way that my GoPro 3Hero+ Silver isn't really fully supported, but down revved the firmware to 2.0 on it and I am at least able to get live stream now. I guess a GP4 is in my future 
Anyone else in Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Pembroke Pines area? Also looking for anyone that can tell me any good places to fly out in Scottsdale, AZ. I am heading out there Sunday for a few days at want to get some nice video. Here is some footage from my first flight with the Solo. I know a little jerky, still getting used to the controls on this one
