HDR Troubles

I have been flying with the new Solex app for the past month or so and had great success with the HDR feature the first time I used it. Recently I am having trouble with it as HDR mode now creates nine separate photos with the same EV. Have tried manually adjusting the EV but with the same results. Any idea what the issue is? Flying with a Hero 3 + Black Edition.
