Hawkeye Firefly S7?

Im curious does anyone know much about the Hawkey FireFly S7? How does it compare to a GoPro? Does it work well with the Solos gimbal? I've seen some photos taken from these cameras that don't seem to have the distortion. I'm planning on using it for our 2nd Solo....

no camera is going to operate with the solo gimbal as designed
it was made specifically for gopro
I am sure you could duct tape some other camera in there, but no control over it, feed may be possible

The Firefly S8 is a true 4k camera that offers PWM controls and seems to be the same size as the S7. Has anybody tried modifying the gimbal software parameters (like you can do in mission planner) to get the S8 fully functional?

The GoPro hero 4 black's are going for cheap on Ebay straight from the manufacturer....Don't bother with the FireFly it cost just as much and will not work correctly.
