So the solo has a accessory bay, and I can think of tons of little electronics to stick in there. Id like to be able to assign the A and B buttons custom functions, so I can control an Arduino with the buttons and activate a little servo, or LED lights.

Is this possible? Does 3DR endorse this? Do they provide some kind of dev kit?

I "believe" getting at those should be possible. 3DR generally supports this kind of thing (with all the normal caveats of course).

Head over to the Solo Mod Club group on Facebook: Log into Facebook | Facebook

People doing amazing things there... They are your best bet :)
