GOPRO Medium Setting

The solo manual says that the GOPRO should be set to medium FOV. I do not own a GOPRO yet, but it looks
likes that would limit the video to 2.7K, 1080p, and 720p. Am I understanding this correctly?

I believe it say to use that to keep the legs out of the shot. I think that won't be the case when using the gimbal.

Yes, 4k video only works with wide. I had my Gopro modified to use a 5.4mm rectilinear lens just for this.
