Gimbal stabilizer

Does the gimbal need to be stabilized if you want to fly without a GoPro mounted? If so could someone post a link to the stabelizer I should use?

Remove the gimbal if you are not going to use it (it is easy to do). Never fly with an empty, unbalanced gimbal.
