Gimbal inop with HDMI plugged in... help

I had a small crash the other day. 5 feet, tapped a tree and rolled it over, breaking a prop. Gimbal worked fine on the next flight until about 6 minutes in and the video feed went green. Pulled the gimbal and battery tray to check
Connections.. all were in and good. Now, after reassembly the gimbal only works with the HDMI unplugged... plug in the HDMI cable and the gimbal light goes from green to black. Help...
