FYI: Hoodman HAV6PKIT hood kit

I use an iPhone 6s Plus with the 3DR Controller. In terms of light blocking this Hoodman two-piece hood for the iPhone is better than any other solution I've tried.

Note that there's a rectangular cut-out on the bottom, where it meets the phone. This lets me reach in to swipe, tap, etc. I have not used it much yet, though, so my opinion could change -- especially if I need to interact with on-screen controls that I don't currently use. But so far, so good.

May I ask your opinion on this as a solution for occasional fliers?

In particular I wanted to ask about how and how well it attaches to the Solo's controller.
