Follow me mode only made Gimbal follow me, not Solo

So my third day of flying and decided to try follow me. I tried it and the Solo stayed completely still, just hovering, but the gimbal kept me in the center of the frame. I also tried switching over to "look at me" and it did the same thing. What's up with that? Anyone else have that happen?

Yes, I had that happen too. Mind you the manual says that it starts in look at me and you need to press the follow button to go into follow mode. From memory I thought mine started in follow mode.

Confusing...
