Relish3D has just released the Solo Extenders that allows you to increase the gimbal clearance by another 30mm while offering a unique foldable design for easy storage with any existing Solo cases or bags. It is now available for worldwide shipping and comes in a combination of colors: Solo-Green, Fiery-Red and Bright-Orange.

Below is a picture of the Solo Extenders fully extended and ready for flight.

I damaged one of these extenders while trying to install it. I believe the design is too rough for an easy installation. But the guys in the chat room were very nice and have sent me two replacements. I had a fix-it suggestion for them. I tried to post it in their chat room, but nobody replied. Paranoid or just too busy? I gave it freely and openly. Look for it on a post I'm about to create on 3D Pilots.

John:

Thanks. We just realize today that there may have been a slight change in the Solo leg slots recently... maybe change in mold used in injection molding. This caused the in-between-clip to be tighter hence making it more difficult to slot in our extenders.

As pointed out by one of our users, there is an easy mod that will fix this. See our latest posting below. All future Solo Extenders will have this mid-bridge removed hence negating this problem for all our future customers.

John, one more thing. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] or my colleague Simon at [email protected].

Also, we recently activated an online Chat (right bar) on our Relish3D.com site so that you can connect with Simon faster.

Hope this helps.

Thanks
David
