Ya know, I had to ask thing one, but it's coming up to Christmas shoplifting time. Where cars and houses are broken into and you're the "bad guy" for shooting an intruder (even if he was dressed up as Santa at the time...). Point being, what are you doing to keep your drones safe?

Besides the following, what are you doing to keep your drones safe?
1: Ultraviolet Markers.... the easiest way to mark your property and the easiest security to wipe off and erase, but still a good idea.

2: Etching with the dremel, takes a bit more work to circumvent, but just don't do it where a person can easily place a wrap or sticker over and you're good.

3: What about putting a text file somewhere in the the controller and the drone itself? Any recommendations about where that should be placed that won't interfere with anything or be erased by a reset?

4: Not sure how well some of the Bluetooth trackers work, and if you'd want to even put one in the drone, but any thoughts?

Obviously the above is also good if you have a flyaway (ie. user error) however it's also a double edged sword, after all, your drone falls and smashes someone's car, they are going to be able to find you, however for those of us who are responsible flyers (hopefully EVERYONE here..), I think some tips on drone security would be very welcome!

You can put it anywhere without worry of interference. But there is nowhere you can put it that won't be removed in a factory reset.
