Does anyone else find the FPV view intimidating without a gimbal?

I normally fly beyond visual all the time so what I see via the GoPro is important. The camera pitches around so much without the gimbal I often wonder if the thing is crashing. LOL

I am sure it does not help I have a Peau Productions lens with some zoom that magnifies the problem.

Seems my camera is pointing at the ground most the time.

I think I am going to crank my speed back down to Buick mode as I believe its worse with the slides cranked up.

Anyone else? Its hard to enjoy flying with a view like that.

since I am new to flying a bird larger than a big mosquito, I tend to look skyward more than at the display, but agree that narrowing your field of view and not stabilizing the image can give you a mild case of vertigo.

so far I haven't flown farther than 900 ft away or more than 150 ft high. at least not until I get more comfortable with the platform and the firmware matures a bit

Looks fine to me using the standard lens go pro.....I do take it easy on the sticks and try to fly smooth, but have the speed at max.
