Controller white screened

Has anyone had a controller white screen on them? If so what did you do to fix it?
I have tried the following: removed battery and reinstalled, carefully split the controller and removed the sim card and put it back in place, and made sure there were no broken wires or solder that may have let go but everything looks to be good.

White screen usually indicates either the LCD controller gave up or that it isn't receiving any data...i.e. the STM32 portion of your controller has given up. Unfortunately usually means a toasted controller in the end. Though sometimes the IMX.6 portion is still good.
