Controller batteries going bad?

I had one battery stop taking a charge. Now it seems my second one is doing the same. Looks like it’s only charging to about 60%. I don’t fly all that much. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to check the battery? Is there a way to check controller battery level before connecting to the Solo?

You can check the bat. charge by pressing the on button very fast and let go.

The icon always shows (what looks like) about 60%.

Have you tried a new charger?

Battery shows a charge of 50%. Won’t charge beyond that. Tried to fly, controller shut down after 2 minutes and trigger a Return to home.

Is there a way to test the battery? Or the charger?

I think you may have a bad battery, you can check the charger output with a plain VOM

That’s what I’m thinking too. Just weird that now I’ve gone through 2 batteries. I don’t fly much. Could it be that I’m leaving it plugged in?
