Considering a Solo 3DR

I am new to drones, and found an inexpensive Solo 3DR near me and have a few questions:

Are replacement parts still available such as replacement motors?
Can a different remote be used if the stock one brakes?
What upgrades are recommended? Is the GPS upgrade still available?
Is there a tutorial for setting this up for the first time?

Yes there are replacement parts.
You can use another Solo controller if you break the one you have but you cannot use a standard RC transmitter.
Yes gps upgrades are available.
