Complete newbie in Northeast Arkansas

Just a complete newbie here. I have a lot of questions, and am searching for a lot of answers.

I live in Northeast Arkansas, beautiful rolling hills, along with farmland and great scenery !

I do both photography and videography, but am looking to expand into drone/aerial

Right now, I have the GoPro 3 black (yes, it's OLD, but it does work). So i have plenty of questions about camera's and gimbals.

I'm also interested in learning about mapping, surveying, inspecting, etc., so any tips (wiki's, or fan's) would greatly be appreciated.

PS - Learn how to fly a drone without assistance - get a little one and practice indoors before taking to the wide open skies with $1,000 of equipment.
