    The guy who does my 3D printing now has a CNC machine for cutting aluminum and carbon fiber.

    He's an avid drone racer (builds his own) and offered his services to Solo owners.

    Bed size: 650 X 450 mm
    Max cut: 580 X 380 mm
    Max thickness: 70 mm

    That's all I know about the machine.

    If your interested, his name is Rob and you can email him at: [email protected]

    Think he'd help an absolute noob with QA/QC before I pay to get my stuff cut?

    Sorry for the delay in responding, but I think he would help anyway he could.

    @Maddog
    Wonder what he would charge to cut this?
    I am working on an entire frame pattern but it will be a bit

    this is sort of a blank that I will refine for my under plate

    BTW do you offer your lights in a DIY version?

    I don’t know what he would charge. Send him an email- he is out of town until next Sunday but he may be checking his mail.
    The lights only come fully assembled.

    Ever talk with him about trying to 3D print a replacement battery enclosure? Like one you could put new batteries in?

    He does 3D printing but you need to provide the .stl files.
