Buying batteries

I'm patiently waiting on my backordered Solo that I bought in the last Amazon sale (if anyone has any idea when these might ship...) and I'm looking for deals on batteries and accessories.

I have seen you guys post here about sales including buy one get one free. How often do these happen? I see the batteries currently down to $139, but also on back order at Amazon.

Incidentally, I wrote to Amazon asking about all the backorder and they said the supplier is taking longer than expected. Is the 3DR having supply issues?

They've had 2 bogo battery sales so far spaced about 3 or 4 months apart. Who knows if they will do more.

Also I just looked now and if you buy a solo for full price you can have it within 4-5 days

The solo and the backpack are both sold and shipped by Amazon, I believe we're waiting on the gimbal. I talked with Amazon and there is nothing they will do to expedite.
