I was out flying in sport and acro modes today. The Solo with my assistance decided to make a snake farm. It cartwheel end over end, plastic flying, static camera mount and GP4 flew off along with the battery. It did not look good. Sorry the camera was not filming. To my amaze nothing was broken - nothing. The props just spun off. I put everything together and test withhout the props, then added the props and got another battery of flight time in. Not only is this bird solid it is a hot rod - fast in advance modes. Now I understand where it was mention ed this craft goes 55mph. With the down wind of approx 10 mph it was a blast.

Acro mode? Not for my Solo - that's what they make 'racers' for. Still, I really like DRIFTing! And yes, Solo is capable of actually exceeding it's 55mph listed top speed...just watch your altimeter.:)

Well, when I got two more for $375 w/ gimbal I was willing to take the risk. Solo #1 which is over a year old and has a 3 yr accidental damage and liquid warranty was a great canidate. No regrets.

Yea, in that case I can see your logic.

I also remember reading your post; I hate you Burkeam! :D:D
Two Solos (w/ gimbal's) for $375!! Oh well, I'll just have to console myself with my new MB Epic 280 V2 with F-60 T-Motors... Oh, and keep looking for screaming deals like yours!
