I am waiting for my new Solo to arrive from the US (Its a Best Buy deal thats currently on the slow boat to the UK).
I have built and flown with an older APM based F450, an F550 with NazaM2 and a Xugong v2 with Naza M lite. I also built a 250 with ccd but that doesnt really get flown much. I always wanted an IRIS and then along came the Solo. While it was the quad I wanted the price was exhorbitant and even more so being in the UK.
I am looking forward to flying it, but sad that the only reason I could afford one is that they are being discontinued. I am going to struggle to even buy batteries in the UK!
Looking forward to getting it and getting it airborne. Also looking forward to what the community can do with these birds once 3dr "go dark" on us. Am thinking a reshelled solo with bigger battery, uprated motors and larger props would be nice!
