After Firmware update Solo won't connect

I updated Solo and controller to latest firmware this am and now the controller just reads 'waiting for solo'. Iphone 6 shows solo disconected. I have rebooted and switched fully charged batteries. Still no connection. Anyone else have this issue.? It connected fine prior to firmware install.

I would try to re "pair" the controller to Solo first. If not, you might have to do a reset but you want 3DR support on the phone for that.
