3DR Solo App with Huawei Phone

Anyone using the 3dr solo app with Huawei phones? (This phone does not have google services)
I am thinking of buying a Huawei P Smart S phone.

I guess nobody uses a Huawei phone. I verified that the 3DR solo App is giving Google Service Error.
Now a question that will hower in the air again:
Will Solex App work?

Solex is actively developed, but given Huawei's spats with Google YMMV

I use a Huawei P30Lite and a M5 Mediapad 8Lite with no issues running Solex. The 3DR APP is no longer supported and will not run on newer flavours of Android.
