From a vibration standpoint (coming from an engineer that deals with it), this mod could help, or it could hurt. It depends on the frequency of the vibration and the natural frequency of the updated system. My gut tells me that it will be worse, but it could hit on a node of the natural frequency and be smooth as glass...

It is interesting how something's don't act like you'd imagine, even if by design. Either way, it'll be interesting to see the results.

I know @SoloMio did a similar mod, but his purpose was vibration related.
