Hello all, I haven't flown my Solo since 3DR when under. Mine is practically brand new. I'd like to fly it again, but hesitant because I dont know if its being supported, updated regularly, is it obsolete and I should NOT fly it but instead "write it off" and buy something more current etc...

Hey V3 thanks for the info, unfortunately it didn't solve my issue. I'm surprised there is little on the internet of others describing this, which leads me to believe I may be in the minority. I'm stumped at this point. :(

Hey all, I just got the gimbal installed and the Gopro transmits video just fine, however the record button is grayed out as are all of of the cameras control settings within the Solo App. Im using the Gopro Hero 3 Black (latest updates) with the Android version of the Solo app. Any advise...

I always face due north as this is a standard requirement. I use the compass in my iphone 5 to get due north orientation.

Did that several times but will try a few more times. May have to send logs to 3DR

Hey Steve, When you say "reset" you mean do the "Compass Calibrate" routine again, correct? Or is there a way to reset it that Im not aware of, and then do the compass calibrate routine?

Not yet, But I/we shouldn't have too when I'm in a huge open field with no visible metallic objects around. You know what I mean? The ship should not be that sensitive. I've been hand building quads and hexas with DJI flight controllers and GPS and flying anywhere and everywhere for 4 solid...

I down loaded tower, it tell me I need to update 3dr services, I download services install it try to launch tower and keep getting told I need to update services. I'm now in endless loop. Anyone else getting this? I'm on a Samsung S ANDRIOD. thanks

I placed an order with them 4 days ago for a Solo replacement shell. Got an email conf of the order, but not holding breath on it shipping anytime soon. Always seems to be "fire it & forget it" with 3DR internet ordering. They need to hire a skilled executive to oversee their eCommerce sector...
