iOS 9.1 is a beta which isn't supported by 3DR. At least thats my understanding of it

i had iOS 9 beta and it was not compatible. However, since upgrading to iOS 9 and updating the solo app i no longer receive the notification from the app that "this OS is not supported". Still waiting on receiving my new solo from 3DR but it appears that it should work. I would recommend testing...

You start and stop recording by pressing in on the gimbal toggle switch on the top left of the controller. Functionality to change go pro settings is coming in the next update. About a month so says 3dr.

Just updated on nexus 7. Update went fine but had to cycle power on the controller and solo to get them to reconnect after update. There doesn't appear to be any changes as far as GoPro integration is concerned, at least at first glance.

That can't be correct. I ordered mine on August 12th and it just arrived today.
