    Freeskies CoPilot is an app that can potentially be the smart shots version for DJI. You are now able to make key frames using the copilot app and autonomously fly your drone.

    Maybe they pulled it out of bestbuy to prevent the same thing that happened to 3dr. Possibly delayed manufacturing - they don't want people to pre-order and wait 3 months before they get their drones.

    3DR Solo Smart shots is the best advantage Solo has against all other drone makers too bad they did not capitalize on that advantage.

    I used an arduino pro mini - but it's an overkill for its purpose - It works great and really bright - it doesn't get hot or warm at all- when I have time I'll wire it up and take a pic for you.

    Technically all you need is a 5.8 transmitter which is hooked up to the FPV camera on the solo and on the ground an FPV receiver - which can be a gogle or an lcd screen.

    I truly feel for you - you should post the video on YouTube - you will not get any simpatico in this forum - I've seen a guy post his problems in YouTube and seems to be getting a lot of his problems resolved.
