RTH calculations are based on the location of where it took off from. It considers where it took off from to be 0 feet, regardless of physical altitude. So it will go to 90ft or whatever you set it to from the point where it took off from, so you need to consider that when coming UP the mountain if RTH engages. When on a mountain or steep grade, I would set it to max altitude for RTH just to be sure to avoid trees.
