Gopro alternative for solo

I'm just wondering if there is a gopro alternative out there?

For the 3dr gimbal you could 3d print an adapter and use basically any knockoff gopro/action cam you just need a hdmi out on the camera. If you're using the stock static camera mount you can use any camera that could hook up to the gopro mount adapter and has hdmi out.
