I love the Solo. I have two and took both to Alaska to shoot a marketing video for the Alagnak Lodge. Never used the backup Solo. Using the Solo to artfully tell a story is incredible. Ariel footage, when used properly, not overdone can take your work to the next level.

Hello rengaw. I purchased a ribbon cable from Amazon in an attempt to dampen vibration (see picture). The trick to stabilize even more was indeed done in post with FCPX. I'm not sure how much vibration was eliminated by replacing the HDMI cable with the ribbon but I am sure it didn't hurt it...

I have two Solo's I use professionally and I have never had a problem with flyaways. I am disappointed that 3DR has changed it's focus but I still stand behind my Solo's.

Here's what I found out. the lens I got is just the round lens and that's too big for the lens on the 4. I had to look and order and frame that fits inside the lens which will then slide over the rim of of the GP 4 lens. I ordered that this morning so it will be here in a week or sooner...
