WiFi won't allow use solo app

Hello all,
Hoping somebody has had this issue in the past.
When start the solo app on my Huawei p20 pro while WiFi is connect it shuts the app down?, any ideas?

This happens due to the latest Android update. Not sure of work around, but downgrading your phone or use the Solex app are the two options.
