Does anyone out there have a copy of 3dr's original warranty that includes coverage for the GoPro? Thanks

You're looking for the part where it says the GoPro coverage is no longer valid when the GoPro is no longer able to be sourced new from GoPro. It's in there, it is what is, and you will not find a way around it.
