Yep, pretty cool. Anybody know if the drones were flown by human pilots?
I saw something like that on an episode of Star Trek (the original series).

Wondered that too but watching their mishaps here and there when they stopped and corrected things they seemed to be flown by people.

There is a Ted Talk on these optically controlled drones. They program algorithms into them to learn physics, like balancing a stick, going through a hoop, flips. The drones/computer figure out the physics. Very cool.
