Having so much fun with number one I never unboxed two three and four. Now, they are all stuck at the dreaded update.
  1. Turn off cell data (until the app is updated, this will need to be done every time you want to connect to the app)
  2. Reinstall the app (Do Not Open or Update the app yet)
  3. Turn on Controller, then turn on Solo, then connect your phone to the controller wifi (remember to have cell data off)
  4. Open the app. Hopefully, the app will recognize your phone.
  5. If everything works right, you can now download and install the app update and update your drone.
(note: Steps 2-5 only needs to be performed for the initial pre-flight update that is required when you first buy the Solo)
This is what I have found. It has not worked yet.
