Those with multiple Solos, tried Solex follow/remote for drone-follow-drone action?

You could put the Solex Target smartphone on one of your drones and have the other automatically chase it around. That would be cool to see.

I plan to. I just got the follow/Remote working, and bought a cheap Android watch to do it. Need to go to a large enough place, and to have a second pilot available.

Doesn't the watch need an independent data signal if you're going to be outside the Bluetooth range of the smartphone it's tethered to?

This watch has Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS and Data (Sim Card) $80 on Amazon. The data is definitely slower on the watch than my phone. Cool thing is Solex can track mutiple remotes, and you just select which one you are following.

Have not done a Solo to Solo follow-me (guided mode), but I have loaded an auto mission in one and chased it (flying manually) with another. Challenging flying and lots of fun! Really helps to have lights on the lead vehicle. You would be surprised how difficult it is to see the black Solo from above.
