the phoenix x8 saga continues

The IMX6 is now integrated to the spektreworks board, and the copter is being controlled by a SOLO controller.
Just have to calibrate the sticks, set the fail safes and flight modes, and ready for a maiden.
I flew it last week on standard RC control. 18 minutes easily, it actually completed all three axis auto tune on one battery.
Flies really nice.

Last post on this thread, it is done from a platform stand point I am moving on to gimbal.
In the end the set up is
  • Modified Tarot 690 Pro frame converted to a quad and tarot coaxial motor mounts
  • Spektreworks carrier board
  • PH 2.1 the cube
  • Here GPS
  • Arducopter 3.5 (cant wait for 3.6 and the new loiter and GPS blending)
  • Solo IMX 6 on open solo 3.0
  • Solex as primary app with missions add on
  • Tiger Motor MN3510-15 630kv
  • Castle Creations 35 ESCs v5 firmware
  • Tarot 14x45 Props
  • Tarot Retracts ( need to lower them )
