Telemetry Question solex

I downloaded the solex app over the weekend and I cant believe how neat and useful it is. I only have one question.
What is the vertical line on the left side of telemetry inlay used for? Right now im flying my 3dr solo with fixed gimble for training. I have figured all the rest out. Just not sure what its used for. Thinking maybe for 3d cameras axis. It does have a 45 on each side of line at starting point.
