Solo sluggish coming out of hibernation

What the heck happened to Solo over the winter?! I just took Solo out for the first time this year and before flying updated all the software. I fly a lot in Stabilize and on liftoff the throttle verses Solo power output was very sluggish and weak compared to what I remembered. A minute into the flight I was doing a near vertical rapid descent and went full power to stop it. Solo kept on sinking and touched down on the ground hard. The ground was a slight hill so the impact caused Solo to flip to the side and strike a rotor. The force was hard enough to snap an inch off the rotor. Having owned Solo for almost a year and doing aerobic flights without incident, I was thoroughly disappointed when Solo crashed. I vividly remember Solo having so much more power output, that a settling with power escape was cake for Solo, practically instantaneous when you brought the throttle up. So what happened to Solo over the winter or is it just me??? The sporty flight characteristics was what truly impressed me last summer flying it. Now I'm considering a Craigslist listing...

After all the updates you did, check your turtle/rabbit settings. Did you try acro as well? I fly stabilize as well most of the time and it seems to be responsive as usual. But it sounds like your updates may have changed a parameter. You might try a reset of the parameters to be sure:
From Tower App
1.- Follow the steps shown.
2.- Open the menu and go to Parameters.
3.- Once you area at the parameters section search for the SYSID_SW_MREV parameter.
4.- When you find it please select the number written to the right of the parameter name, delete it and write a "0" (Without quotation marks).
5.- Once you have changed the parameter go to the upper-right part of the screen and select the three dot icon.
6.- On that drop down list please select Upload Parameters.
7.- Finally turn off your Solo and then turn it back on.

Yea the last update did reset my max altitude and Rth too I think, if you haven't checked your settings I'd say @Jubalr is likely right. I personally haven't noticed any less power than previous versions.

I did check my settings after the update and adjusted them. I discovered it was probably the battery. I had them fully charged before I put them away for the winter. When I took them out it was roughly showing 65%. So I figured I'd get a couple minutes out of them before having to recharge them. When I tried a second battery, it quickly dropped to 30%. It happened so fast that the very low battery alarm on Solo started going off at 30%. I charged the batteries up fully and Solo was working as normal after that. Thanks guys for your advice!
