Solo - Operating Frequency Bands

What are the frequency bands used by the Solo ?
2.4ghz? (what about 5.8ghz?)

If I replace both 2.4GHz Solo wifi cards in the controller and in Solo with two 5.8GHz cards would this work? If yes would you kindly point out for me the correct cards?

I don't think anyone has done that yet. You will get reduced range with higher frequency.

If you change to 5.8 GHz you will also need to change the antennas in both the Solo and the Controller.
