Im new to drones, but im a chronic tinkerer. My initial thoughts were to scratch build a vehicle that would accept an RPi to tinker with some autonomous flying using Python. However, some research suggests that a Solo (with some modifications) would be a relatively inexpensive way to get started.
Am i wrong in my thinking? Any Pitfalls with this approach? Any good resources you could point me to?
