Solo GoPro5 session plug adapter?

That would probably power the GoPro session but the Solo software only works with Hero 3 & 4 units. So you wouldn’t have camera control or anything like that.

The solo fully supports GoPro Hero 3 to GoPro Hero 4. This is because it uses the port on the back of the cameras for camera control and the HDMI out on the side for the video feed. Other people have managed to put in cheaper action camera's that also have a HDMI out, however this is without camera control as these camera's don't have the rear port.

A USB adapter isn't going to do anything for you as the USB connector isn't used by the Solo or the Gimbal.

You did not say if you are using the fixed mount or gimbal. On the the fixed mount you "May" get the live feed the same on the gimbal if the 5 outputs video like the 3+ black or the 4's on the HDMI port not the USB

It doesn't matter, his question was regarding using a USB adapter to make a gopro session 5 work on a solo. Regardless of whether he's using a gimbal or not, the answer is still "no". Using a USB adapter will not make any difference at all.
