Hi all,

I'm trying to ship some solo stuff from LA to Canada. This will include a battery.

Has anybody done this? Looking for shipping recs.

Thanks!

All my 3DR equipment including batteries was shipped via FedEx this Spring to Victoria, BC. No issues.

Also used DHL to ship 3rd party cameras, wifi boards, and antennas.

you need to ship via Ground! FedEx Ground will do it!! Its the Lithium batteries that will get you. Us Canadians are sticky when it comes to Muricans! haha JK. All North American Lithium shipping laws just got tight even here in Canada. Ensure you follow FedExs requirements for shipping your lithium.

FYI Flying in Canada requires a SFOC (Special Flight Operations Certificate) Probably equivalent to your 333!!

Here is a link to fly safely in our country!

They have a quick PDF flow chart you can follow as well on the same page, here is the link.

Good Luck, Fly safe!!

You will be fine. If you are buying a Solo direct from the company, save some $ and time and buy from B&H. Free shipping over $99 and if you are on the Eastern part of Canada, you'll get it 2-3 business days.
