No GoPro full warning

I've noticed that the Solo app continues to show the red box indicating that it is still recording despite the fact that the GoPro is full. I know it is full because when I landed, the GoPro has the word FULL on the front display.

Few things I noticed...

  • When I power down the Solo, the GoPro does not shut down automatically anymore. I had to manually shut down the GoPro.
  • The Solo app shows no warning that the memory card is full. This could be an issue for those on long treks.
  • As mentioned above, If you record and then the memory runs out it will still show as if it is still recording. You can't stop the recording though. The record button will just be unresponsive.

Anyone out there experience the same thing? It's nothing serious but just something to watch out for.

i have a hero4 black and it definitely powers off and on with solo.

i looked at the gopro messages defined on dronekit and there is a
STATUS_ERROR_NO_STORAGE message. there is also
videoRemaining and photoRemaining messages as well. these just need to be implemented in the app.

Interesting. If it makes any difference, I have a Hero 4 Silver. Not sure why the result of powering down would be any different as they're nearly identical.

It works just fine when the memory card has space as expected, however.

I'm surprised something like remaining is not implemented yet on a camera tool. I'm having to rely on the GoPro's OSD.
