new to Solo.....thanks to BBY

hello everyone.

just wanted to post a couple of lines to say hi. im new to Solo thanks to Best Buy's deal of the day sale, but not new to r/c. i have a yuneec typhoon and love it, and also have 2 home made-ish quads with the naza-m v2 flight controller in it, which i also like. after purchasing the Solo i jumped on rcgroups and was immediately regretting the buy. but then i found all of you......and im really glad i did. i am part of the yuneec forum but didnt think to look for a 3dr version.

after the weather clears up, im hoping to have my maiden flight. found the FAQ and plan on setting A and B to manual, and if i find any other help tips i will be sure to apply them. completed the firmware update on the radio and Solo last night, so now i wait for the weather.

Hi monterx7- welcome to the forum! Lots of good info and people here. Using the search function will save you lots of time.

Don't be afraid to ask questions and download and read the user manual from the 3DR website if you haven't already.

Personally, I'd like to hear how Solo compares to your Yuneec.
