Multi camera Solo

I'm suddenly seeing people post that they are flying their Solos with 3 or 4 cameras at once. What's up with that?

I was thinking of mounting a tail camera to film off road car and motorcycle races. That way I could concentrate on the shot I want and still get the lead in or follow through.
