Thought I would pass this on, maybe its been done before, I don't know. I wanted to mount my controller on a camera tripod, I have seen its been done before with brackets etc. I took the tablet/phone bracket off the controller and modified it easily so now I can mount it on a camera tripod.
I ground out part of the plate with my dremel tool, drilled a hole and taped it with a 1/4UNC thread (the material is around 3.5mm thick).
I screwed my tripod removable plate to the bracket, you can do this before you put the bracket back on the controller or after.
And there it is, a tripod mounted controller, no extra brackets or parts just a but of material removal and a 1/4 UNC threaded hole.
As I said, maybe its been done before, sorry the photos are not the best, taken with the phone. Just thought I'd pass this on.
